Rope Access (Abseilers)

Our teams of highly skilled Rope Access Technicians carry an internationally recognised certification which has to be individually renewed every three years. The renewal process entails a five day course with one full day’s assessment on a pass or fail basis. This certification is called IRATA (International Rope Access Trade Association) and is industry known and respected for its standards in safety and work procedures. IRATA not only meets but, in most cases, exceeds Australian Standards for safety factors as it carries industry-specific data which is constantly under review for improvement.

Rope access is an excellent addition to an already vast collection of access methods at Vertical Access. It is also recognised as the industries safest access method, exceeding safe working hours of all other access methods, including scaffolding, elevated work platform and ladder access.

For every 1000 hours of work completed with an additional one year of experience, the operator can choose to be promoted through the 3 tier system from level 1 to level 3. At Vertical Access, we are proud to be of a calibre that all of our supervisors have attained their level 3 status.

Our Rope Access Technicians are multi-skilled tradesmen, so you can rest assured that we have the capabilities whatever the job.
